Post-Service Prayer: Prayer teams are available to pray with you after every morning service.

Family Prayer Group: Pray with others for your loved ones and family members every Thursday morning from 7:00-8:00 am in the Chapel.

Our Church Family:

Willy Wever was admitted to the ICU at Belleville General Hospital after being found unconscious in her home Thursday. She has only regained consciousness for moments at a time since then. Doctors are not sure what is causing her condition. Please pray for Willy.

Continue to pray for Robert Guppy. He is still in BGH, awaiting transfer to a nursing home.

Gerrit Tammel is unable to walk for reasons doctors do not completely understand. Please keep Gerrit and Wilhelmina in your prayers.

Please continue to hold Laurie Wood, Glen Arendt, Marten VanderWal, Eve Kugel, Andy Jongenotter, Rick Foulds, & our shut-ins in your prayers.

Christmas New Years Worship Schedule:

· January 1st – 10:00 am as usual.

· There will be no New Years Eve service.

Christmas Gift Cards: Every year Benevolence helps many who are struggling financially by giving them grocery gift cards for Christmas. They are from our church community and those who are referred to us through a connection in the church. If you would like to help by donating to this cause, please fill out the bulletin insert. Cheques should be made out to Maranatha but marked as benevolence gift cards. Forms must be filled and returned today.

Classis Quinte: is seeking a Stated Clerk; the position is available immediately; the start date is flexible. Each Classis Clerk attends three classis meetings per year as well as three interim committee meetings to record the minutes and complete follow-up tasks. The duties involve tasks such as working with the Classis Ministries Committee to prepare the agendas for meetings as well as handling the correspondence and administrative duties of the classis.  An honorarium is provided for this position. Outdoor Skating Rink on site: We are excited to announce we will be having an outdoor skating rink on our property. If you like to join the "rink rat team," by helping to keep our ice clean please contact Wanda Thompson @ wlthompson7@hotmail.com or (613) 743-5293.

Meal Train: Mike & Loretta Nanninga, and sons, Seth and Paul are thrilled with the arrival of Daniel Detlef. Mike & Loretta would appreciate some provided meals over the next few weeks as she gains her strength back and as they settle into a new normal. Looking to Rent: A couple in our church community are in urgent need of a place to rent. They have a budget of around $700 - $1000 and are looking in Belleville or Trenton. Only one parking space is needed. If you think you can help, or for more information, please call Jobin at (613) 970-8007 or Acsa at (343) 889-2778.

Year End Giving: We are asking the congregation to prayerfully consider how you have been blessed financially this year and to give as you are able to help us finish the year in good shape. Donations must be received by Dec. 31th to be eligible for a tax receipt for 2022.

All e-transfers must be done by Dec. 30th.

Lost & Found: If you or someone you know has lost an item here at the church recently or in the past couple months, please take some time to check out the Lost & Found bin, now located at the Info Desk. All items not claimed by December 31st will go to The Belleville Thrift Store.

Special GriefShare Event - Maranatha Church will be hosting a special 2 hour GriefShare seminar called Loss of a Spouse on Sat, Jan. 28th, 2023 from 2 - 4pm.  If you or someone you know is grieving the death of a spouse you are welcome to attend or encourage someone else to attend. Library: The library will be closed Sun, Dec. 25th, 2022 and Sun, Jan. 1st, 2023. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Holiday Hours: The church office will be closed from Mon, Dec. 26th to Wed, Dec. 28th, and Mon, Jan. 2nd to Tues, Jan 3rd. Otherwise, office hours will remain the same.
