Prayers for Advent: A prayer guide for each Sunday of Advent is in your mailbox this morning to focus us in prayer over these next weeks as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ's birth. Let's join together in reflecting on our FAITH and the HOPE, LOVE, JOY and PEACE that is ours in Jesus as we invite Him to go deeper! Additional copies are available at the Information Desk and on the church website.
Friendly Reminder: Please be mindful that all nuts are BANNED in the building. Some of our members have severe allergies. Thank-you.
Christmas New Years Worship Schedule:
· Saturday, December 24th — 6:00 PM Christmas Eve Service
· Sundays December 25th and January 1st – 10:00 am as usual.

Junior High: We talked about making room for Jesus this past week as we kicked off our Christmas series in Jr. High. We talked about the question, "Is there room for Jesus in your heart and life?” Why was there no room at the inn for Jesus? This week we are looking at, "Saying Yes and what does that mean and how can we learn from a teenager named Mary about choosing to trust God's plan for each of our lives?” Come join us as we explore more of God's word.
Senior High: Come on out on Friday for a night of games, worship, and teaching from 7-9pm! Also, mark your calendars for Dec. 16th. We will be hosting an event for all Quinte Area youth groups. The cost is $5. We will have a speaker, live music, dinner, and games. Dinner starts at 6pm. The night ends around 9:30pm.
Sr. High Volunteers & Bakers Needed: If you can help the Senior High group either by providing food for their upcoming city-wide youth event on Dec. 16th, or if you are interested in investing in youth by volunteering, reach out to James Stickland. We will be saying goodbye to 2 or 3 volunteers starting in January, and we’d love to say hello to you and at least two others!
Young Adults: What a great end to our Gospel Love study! Thanks to everyone for being part of building this amazing community. There is no Young Adults this Tuesday, but mark your calendars for Tues, Dec. 13th. We're having a Christmas party! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Adam @ adam@maranatha-church.com.
Meal Train: Hazel Vogt is fairly new to our Maranatha community, and on Sun, Nov. 13th, she delivered a healthy baby boy, Milo. If you think you can provide a vegan meal for her, please sign up at mealtrain.com/vlrvez. If accessing the link is not possible, you can contact Linda Wattam at (613) 848-7083.
